A few years ago, the impressive gate house and towers of the castle were renovated and it is here that you will find your accommodation.
The towers comprise three self-catering apartments and a small studio room.
The outer towers (left) each sleep four people, while the central Gatehouse accommodates five. The studio room has one double bed and a bathroom. It can act as an annexe for the other apartments.
While the façade is old, the apartments are fully modernised inside: electric with television, shower and bath as standard, and come equipped with many mod cons for your convenience.
Guest parking is permitted within the castle courtyard.
There are other self-catering apartments nearby, or if you’re feeling lazy there is a coaching inn opposite where there are seven luxurious en suite rooms with four poster beds.
