Chillingham Castle - How to get there

Chillingham Castle may be remote from  telecommunications networks. However by air, rail or road it is a quick and cost effective journey.

The growth of low cost airlines, makes both Newcastle and Edinburgh airports inexpensive gateways from all over Europe into this forgotten kingdom. Both Go and EasyJet have regular services. Short flight times and quick check ins ensure expensive days will not be written off in travel. Connections to the Castle can be by bus, car, limousine, Land Rover on the traffic free roads, or the breathtaking swoop over the rugged moors of the VIP helicopter transfer.

By rail, Great North Eastern Railways have frequent, comfortable and reliable services from London Kings Cross in the South and Stonehaven / Aberdeen in the North.  Virgin Cross Country will service your needs through the East Midlands to the South West with through services from Cornwall and Wales.

By road, Chillingham is only minutes from the main Newcastle to Coldstream Road, favoured by many regular drivers over the more obvious A1 trunk route, which was built to join the English and Scottish seats of power.
